Acts Pt. 41 - All About Jesus

1. Read Eph. 4:1-6 - like the silversmiths in Ephesus – what are some modern institutions that should be challenged if believers started “walking worthy” and following “the way” as the Ephesians did here?

2. Share a time when you’ve seen a believer have a positive impact through their character and testimony, rather than trying to “force” change through power or manipulation?

3. If the primary purpose of the church is to honor Christ by making disciples, how does that change how we pray for/approach ministry to our city and our nation?

4. When the Ephesian riot broke out, the believers prevented Paul from entering the fray or starting a counter-protest. In our current "shoutdown" culture, how can we as a church body model the "careful consideration and intentional living” we talked about Sunday?

Personal reflection questions:

5. Are there any temporary "gods" in your life (e.g., career, hobby, comfort, popularity, sins) that you are tempted to defend or prioritize over Christ – what steps does Scripture call you to take to reject those?

6. Are there any areas of your life where you’re more a “cultural chameleon” rather than a faithful follower? Take time this week to confess those to God and seek to show genuine repentance in your life in these areas.
