Acts Pt. 51 - The True Transforming Gospel

1. Paul said that because of the resurrection and the coming judgement he strove to keep a clean conscience. Paul didn't obey in order to be saved, but rather he strived for a clear conscience because he was saved. Why is keeping this order straight so vital to preventing legalism in our hearts and christian community?

2. Paul points out in verse 14 that his belief in "the way" is completely aligned with everything written in the Law and the Prophets. How does this encourage and helps us to remember that the New Testament isn't a "new" message, but the fulfillment of God's OT promises?

3. Read I Cor. 1:20-25; Mat. 23. What are some ways we might be tempted to rely on the wisdom of the world in a way that takes us off track Spiritually?
