Priority of God as Worship

1. Why do you think God established physical/tangible acts and rituals to help people remember him? What are we neglecting and forgetting if we disregard these principles?

2. How can we ensure that our giving and serving remain a "tangible expression of where our hearts are" rather than becoming a legalistic chore?

3. How can we balance the spirit of the widow in Mark 12 and the widow of Zerephath in 1 Kings 17, with the command to care for our families and relatives in I Tim. 5:8, et al.?

4. How does the content of the messages from the last two weeks help us as we come to this passage this morning? What happens to our giving if we forget those principles? (Is. 6, Rev. 1, Ezek. 1, Ps. 24)?
