Rejoicing in the God Who is Over All
1. How does viewing the world as a planned creation by God change your sense of responsibility toward it compared to viewing it as a "happy coincidence?”
2. The text describes the King as "mighty in battle" and the "Lord of hosts". How does knowing that God is the "divine warrior" who fights for you provide the "freedom to trust" Him with your finances or future?
3. Ps. 24:4 says the person who receives blessing and righteousness from the Lord, rejects (among other things) lifting up their soul to what is false… What are some “acceptable” forms of idolatry in our culture (and lives), and how do we guard ourselves against them?
4. This passage helps us recognize God as the King of Glory and owner of all. In the context of giving, we want to avoid both "legalism" and "apathy". What does healthy, worship-driven giving look like in a local church community??
