Leviticus Pt. 7 - Leviticus: Holiness Pt. 2

1. How do we guard ourselves against treating sin lightly? How do these passages in Leviticus speak to this and help us here? What are some NT passages that also speak to this?

2. Christ has fully secured our justification and dealt with the penalty of our uncleanness, yet we are still charged to "strive... for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23–24). How do we pursue this holiness in daily life without drifting into self-righteous legalism?

3. Then in what practical ways can we as a church help one another "cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit" (2 Corinthians 7:1) without falling into legalism or worldly conformity?
