Rooted, Growing, Impacting

1. Are you taking personal responsibility to be “rooted” in Christ? Or are you relying on the church and it’s programs to do it for you? Why can’t that be sufficient/effective?

2. Read Eph. 4:14ff and 2 Pet. 3:17; Rom. 16:17 - How can we make sure we are staying grounded in the gospel and the truth of Scripture and not getting drawn away into the things these passages warn us about?

3. Are there any ways you’re currently guilty of “dislocating” yourself from the body by avoiding “inconvenient” or hard involvement? What would it look like to be fully engaged?

4. When you interact with other belivers, how can we be intentional about keeping God and his work and his kingdom as part of the conversation? Why is this important?

5. What are some of the opportunities that God has given you specifically to be Salt and Light? How can you be faithful (and grow!?) in those areas?
