Acts Pt. 36 – Persuading the Pagans
1. What “idolatry” do we see around us? Does our response to what we see and hear tend more towards compassion, love, and concern – or judgmentalism and pride? What should our response look like?

3. Despite what was surely an uncomfortable situation (“this babbler…”) – Paul wasn’t afraid to call them to repentance. What are some ways we might be tempted to neglect the “harder” parts of the gospel in an effort to be more culturally acceptable or relevant?
4. When we consider that every conversion is an astonishing act of the Spirit of God – how does this release us from the pressure of feeling like we need to be someone “special” – like Paul – to be effective in evangelism?
5. Was there anything that stood out to you from this passage?
