1. Col. 2:8-15 speaks of being “filled in Christ” – based on the rest of this passage and from our passage in Phil. 4, share a way that Christ fills us in a real and practical way.

2. What are the specific circumstances or things (money, health, relationships, accomplishments) that most commonly lead to discontentment in your life? How does Paul’s challenge to the Philippian church give you perspective in this?

3. Read 2 Cor. 12:9-10 We can struggle with discontentment with what He has given us because we feel we deserve more. Identify one specific modern message (from advertising, social media, or cultural pressure) that influences you to feel you are missing out or that you need one more thing. How does the Gospel reality of the 2 Cor. passage address this?
