1. Read Rom. 5:1; 8:1 - How does YOU being at peace with God have a positive impact on the community of believers? What are some ways that this gets hindered (i.e. what “breaks” our peace) can we make sure this isn’t happening to us?

2. Read Matthew 5:23–24 alongside the Guilt Offering. Why is it spiritually unhealthy to come to corporate worship or attempt Christian service while you have unconfessed sin, or if you’re refusing to make things right with a brother or sister?

3. What are some “wrong” ways to respond to the reality that you can’t lose your salvation? What does the purification offering teach us about how we guard against those tendencies?
