Acts Pt. 54 – God over the Storm

1. Read Job 12:10 and Nehemiah 9:6. How does holding to the truth of God's total ownership and sovereignty of the natural world change the way we process sudden tragedies or natural disasters?

2. Are there any situations where you feel a need to “prove” yourself or your message? What does this passage teach us about this tendency in our hearts?

3. Paul used this terrifying, life-threatening situation to speak words of courage and point others directly to God. Share a time when you saw someone display unshakeable gospel confidence in the middle of a personal storm. What did that teach you about the reality of Christ’s presence and how do you need to grow in this?
