Prophecy of a Future King

1. David’s sheep had to trust him as their shepherd – as David trusted God as HIS shepherd – what are some ways you need to trust God as YOUR shepherd when you might be tempted to trust yourself or to live in fear?

2. A king brings justice and a priest brings intercession. When you struggle with sin, do you tend to only view God as a Judge waiting to punish you, or do you also run to Him as your High Priest who has already offered the sacrifice for your forgiveness? How will this impact your everyday life?

3. As we talk about the king forever who IS reigning even now – what are some ways that we need to be more focused on serving HIS kingdom than trying to build our own (career, status, relationships, wealth, etc)?
